It was amazing! Great food and service!

Before my friend and I were seated outside, I noticed the tables and chairs was very dirty. That was my sign to run but my friend insisted on eating there. The waiter cleaned them up but I felt they should've been cleaned before we arrived. You're having customers eat outside your establishment. I ordered a Cobb salad. The eggs were not cooked and the avocado looked unsafe to eat. I ask for a take home container for my friend and it was filthy. I gave them 2starz because the waiter was pleasant.

Food is good diner food. Love it. Classic all the way. Had outdoor dining. Can't wait to revisit again.

Just had breakfast here been coming for years always happy the last time I was here my mother and I got sick. We went in giving it a second chance walked in food was ok but this place is really old. Needs a change. Dishes need to be scrub a little more water cups need to be change if they look dirty I don’t know things hot water containers need to be wash out our was dirty or just too old .

It was a terrible experience the food was really bad I asked for a well done New York stake but it was burned at least the waitress was very nice and kind but I'll not go back and do not recommend this place my date was very disappointed with this place

This place is great you actually get to eat inside like normal before the covid, just a table apart which is way better anyways love there french toast with eggs and bacon,my husband loves the T-bone steak , my son there spaghetti with meat balls and last but not least the chicken strips for our little girl .

Food and service was great.

I really love coming here with my friends. The food is good (as good as any diner food you can get), but we come here mostly for the atmosphere and the friendly staff! The hosts are always friendly and make sure you are comfortable. The shakes here are really good too! We would regularly visit here at odd hours like 3am before the pandemic. I hope we get a vaccine soon, so that Mae's can go back to being 24hrs again! I really miss the staff and the midnight atmosphere.

Good food and service

I was with friends a few weeks ago and they decided to stop and get something to eat. It was lunch time and I had never eaten here before. I ordered pasta with a little extra sauce and a salad. The food was very good. The salad tasted fresh and the dressing was a generous portion. My pasta was hot and had plenty of sauce. The lunch was filling and put a smile on my face. I left happy and was glad they decided to stop at Mae's Cafe.

Love the fd n service

Every Sunday after church, I always drop by here and had some breakfast. I like their food a lot. Especially, their pancakes it was so fluffy and tasted really great. The coffees and hot chocolate they had was indeed so delicious. The owner of this cafeteria was so welcoming and friendly. She already knew my name and knows my favorite breakfast. A must visit cafeteria in the area.

Place was gross worst service

Good food, affordable, nice portions, welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. The chicken fried steak was insanely tender and juicy, and the Tijuana Scrambled was a great combination of flavors. The biscuits and gravy was just mediocre, mostly cuz it's not sausage gravy, but that's the only "complaint" we had - the flavor of the rest of the food more than made up for it. Even at around 2:30, there was still plenty of traffic coming into the place, so I imagine this place is quite busy during peak hours. Would definitely recommend!

Nice service, open 24 hrs

Had Sirloin Steak n Eggs, with home fries & toast. The Steak, which I asked for to be cooked Medium, was tough as shoe leather & not tasty. The scrambled eggs were good, as well as the home fries & the toast. I THINK, we will try again and get waffles, or French Toast.

The food is always better than Moms home cooking.

Christina, our waitress was excellent! The food was good and the quantity was fulfilling.

I came in I was taking care of right away as I sit down the busboys came over and I order my cup of coffee a minute later the waitress show up and I order my clam chowder soup, which was excellent soup very good soup and good service, good soup I will come in again.

The staff are really kind and friendly! The food is excellent and the prices reasonable!

It was good. I came here to meet my boyfriend's dad for the first time. I ordered a shrimp salad, and let me tell you, it was huge! The pancakes were great! I would definitely come here again!

A very good place to eat food delicious service was fabulous and very friendly. She gave us refills and we didn't have to ask. We will return here whenever we can . We live in Riverside County but my son works in Orange County. I come with him sometimes and that is usually when we e go there.
